Here are some random notes that I thought would be useful for a casual read. A lot of them contain mistakes and so please read them with your own caution.

Miscellaneous

• My maternal grandparents both studied Mathematics at Beijing Normal University and were classmates there. I guess that’s where I got my love for maths and science from!
• My maternal grandfather Fang Xingye（房兴业） was also a researcher in the Aerospace Biomedical Engineering Institute in Beijing and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He worked on the Shenzhou space exploration programme and trained the first Chinese astronauts. He was a huge role model for me growing up! He currently rests at Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery.
